Infant

An infant is a baby who is very young and still developing. They are usually between 0 and 12 months old. Infants need a lot of care because they cannot do very much on their own. They need help with things like eating, sleeping, and staying clean. Infants communicate with their caregivers through crying and making sounds. They also start to learn and explore their surroundings by touching and grasping objects. Infants grow very quickly and will eventually become toddlers.
