ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Infant bodysuit

An infant bodysuit is a special piece of clothing that babies wear. It looks like a shirt, but it has some special features that make it different.

Firstly, it's called a bodysuit because it covers the baby's whole body, like a onesie or jumpsuit. This helps keep the baby warm and cozy, and it also stops the bodysuit from riding up over their belly or shoulders.

The bodysuit has different fasteners to keep it closed, depending on the brand and model. Some can have snaps, buttons or zippers at the front or the back, but most commonly they have snaps at the bottom. This means that when you need to change the baby's diaper, you don't have to take the entire bodysuit off- you can simply unsnap the bottom and get to work.

Bodysuits also have special short sleeves, long sleeves, or no sleeves at all, depending on the climate or the occasion. Some even have cute patterns, prints, or graphics, making them look stylish and adorable.

Overall, infant bodysuits are an important piece of clothing for babies because they keep them warm, comfortable, and protected. Plus, they make it easier for parents or caregivers to change them quickly without any fuss or mess.
