Infection control

Infection control is all about keeping people from getting sick. Germs are tiny, invisible creatures that can make us sick. Even if we can't see germs, they can still spread. So, we use infection control to help keep germs away from us or away from places where they could make people sick.

We do infection control by washing our hands a lot, and by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. We also use protective equipment like gloves and masks when we're around people who might be sick. All of these things help keep germs away and make sure that they don't get passed around.
