Information Society Directive

So, you know how sometimes we use the internet to buy things or watch videos or share pictures with our friends? The information society directive is a set of rules that helps protect people’s rights when we do those things.

Just like we have rules at school, there are rules online too. But because the internet is used all over the world, different countries have different rules. The information society directive makes sure that everyone follows the same rules, even if they’re in a different country. It also has rules about things like privacy, meaning that companies can’t use our information without our permission.

Basically, the information society directive helps make the internet a safe and fair place for everyone to use.
