Infrared vision

Infrared vision is like magic eyes that can see things that are hidden from normal eyes.

You know that we can see things like people, trees, and animals with our eyes during the day when there is light. But at night or in the dark, things can become tough to see. That's because some things don't give off enough light for us to see them.

Infrared vision allows us to see objects that emit heat. This is because objects that give off heat make a kind of invisible light called infrared radiation. These invisible lights can't be seen by humans with our normal eyes.

To see these invisible lights, we use special equipment called infrared cameras. Infrared cameras can detect the heat given off by objects, and then they convert this heat into a visible image that we can see on a screen.

So, with infrared vision, we can see things even in the dark if they give off heat. This is why people use infrared cameras for a lot of different things, like finding animals in the dark, checking for hot spots in machines, and even detecting intruders at night.
