Inter-caste marriage

Okay kiddo, so you know how in some families, people have different last names, like Daddy might be a Smith and Mommy might be a Jones? Well, in some countries, people have something called a "caste" which is kind of like a last name, but it also says what group they belong to in their society.

And some people think it's really important to only marry people from their own caste. But other people think it's okay to marry someone from a different caste, because they believe in love and don't think it matters what caste someone is.

So when two people from different castes get married, it's called an "inter-caste marriage". Some people think it's great, because it means that people are breaking down barriers and not judging each other based on their caste. But some other people might not be happy about it, because they think it's important to keep their caste traditions alive.

So it's kind of like when two people from different families with different last names get married. Some people are happy about it, some people aren't, but in the end, it's all about love and what makes people happy.
