Interplanetary File System (IPFS) is a way of storing and sharing data on the internet. It works by breaking down large amounts of data into small pieces, called 'chunks', and then storing those chunks on computers all over the world. This way, when someone goes to access that data, they are able to get it from the nearest computer, making it faster to access than if it was just on one computer. IPFS also helps make sure that everyone using the system always has access to the most up-to-date version of the data, so that everyone is always looking at the same information.
