Interactive online characters are "characters" you can talk to on the internet. They're like imaginary friends, except they usually appear in the form of an avatar (a picture or graphic that looks like a person) that you can talk to and ask questions. They might even give advice! You can find these characters in online games, chatrooms, websites, and lots of other places. They're usually created by computer programs so that they can respond to what you type. Some interactive online characters can even show emotions and understand things, just like real people.
