Okay kiddo, have you ever played with blocks and sorted them by color or shape? That's kinda what internal set theory is about, but instead of blocks we use numbers and instead of sorting them we put them in little groups called sets.
So imagine a big box full of blocks where each block has a number written on it. Now, we take out only the blocks with even numbers and put them in a separate group. This group of even numbered blocks is called a set.
Now let's say we have another box filled with blocks but this time with odd numbers. We take out all the odd number blocks and put them in their own set.
Now, we can compare the two sets by seeing which one has more blocks or which one has a certain number that the other one doesn't. This is like comparing the number of red and blue blocks or seeing which set has more triangles.
So basically, internal set theory is about playing with numbers and putting them in groups (sets) to help us compare and understand them better.
