International Components for Unicode

International Components for Unicode (also called ICU) is a collection of tools and libraries which help make sure that computer programs can handle written text from around the world. It helps to translate words between different languages and formats, as well as sort words in different languages. It also helps to show written text in different writing systems like Chinese and Japanese. ICU makes sure that your computer software does not get confused by different languages, so that everyone can understand it!
