International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers

Okay kiddo, do you know what the words "violence" and "sex worker" mean? Violence means being hurt or harmed by someone else, or doing something that hurts or harms someone else. And a sex worker is someone who does a job where they provide sexual services or entertainment in exchange for money or other things.

Now, there are some people out there who think that sex workers are bad or wrong, and they might treat them in a mean or hurtful way. This can make sex workers feel really scared and unsafe, and sometimes it can even lead to them being hurt or killed.

The International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers is a day when people all around the world come together to say that this kind of violence is not okay. They want to raise awareness about the fact that sex workers deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, just like everyone else.

By talking about this issue and supporting sex workers, we can work towards creating a world where everyone can feel safe and respected, no matter what job they choose to do.
