International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme

The International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) is an organization that studies the Earth. It looks into how the different parts of the Earth work together to help us have things like clean air, clean water, and healthy food. They also study how people, animals, and plants are connected and how changes in one part of the Earth can affect another. IGBP researchers travel around the world collecting information on how the Earth works so that we can make sure it stays healthy for us and for other living things.
