ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

International Mine Water Association

The International Mine Water Association (IMWA) is a group of people who work together to understand how water in mines affects the environment and people. They talk to each other and share their knowledge to help make sure that when people mine for things like gold or coal, the water doesn't get polluted or hurt any animals or plants. They also try to find ways to use the water in a good way, like helping to grow crops or generating electricity. They are like a club of really smart people who want to help the Earth stay healthy even when we dig into it.
