International Organisations of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) is a global organization made up of securities commissions from different countries. Its main aim is to help make sure that people who buy and sell investments, like stocks and bonds, do so in a safe and fair way. IOSCO develops standards that securities markets worldwide should follow, and also monitors how markets are performing. That way, it can help protect investors and make sure that markets are working properly.
