International Pasty Festival
So, you know how sometimes mommy makes pies or cupcakes that you really like and you get to eat them? Well, some grown-ups like to make special foods called pasties that are like big pies filled with yummy things, but they make them in a special way from different countries all over the world.
And when lots of people who like pasties get together, they have a big party called the International Pasty Festival where they show off their different pasties and everybody gets to try them and have fun together. They also have things like music and dancing and games to play.
It's like when you have a birthday party and your friends bring different kinds of cupcakes for you to try, but imagine hundreds of people bringing different kinds of pasties for everyone to try! It's a really fun time and everybody gets to learn about different countries and cultures through their delicious pasties.
