ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Internet resistance

Internet resistance is when people work together to fight against things that are happening on the internet. People try to protect their rights and freedom, and to keep their information safe and away from people who might use it in bad ways. The internet is full of people, and even companies, who want to control what you can do, share or look at. People in internet resistance are trying to keep these people from having too much control and from taking away people's rights and freedom. They do this by creating programs, websites and apps that help people protect their data and privacy. They also raise awareness about what's happening so that more people know what's going on and can help fight for their rights.
