Intertitle

An intertitle is like a little sign that tells you what's happening in a movie. You know how sometimes in a movie or a TV show, some words or sentences will pop up on the screen to tell you what's going on, like "Two Years Later!" or "Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch"? Those are called intertitles! They help you understand what's happening in the story without having to guess or ask someone else. They're like little helpers that make it easier for you to follow along with the story.
