Interval FEM (Finite Element Method) is a way of solving complicated problems with complicated shapes. It divides the problem into simpler shapes (called elements) and looks at how they interact with each other and how they affect the outcome. This is a bit like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, where each piece (the element) affects how the whole puzzle (the problem) looks. With Interval FEM, computers can figure out how the pieces fit together faster and more accurately than we could ever do by hand.
