Invasive species are animals, plants or even bacteria that don't usually live in a certain area, but find a way to get there and make the place their home. These species don't naturally belong in the new environment, and they can cause a lot of damage. For example, when invasive plants move into a new area, they can push out the other plants already living there and make it harder for animals to find food. Invasive animals can eat too much of the food in their new environment, causing other animals to not have enough. They can even spread diseases to other animals, making them sick.
