Investigative journalism

Investigative journalism is when a reporter looks at a problem and tries to find out the truth. They do this by talking to people and doing research to get all of the facts. They are sometimes called "investigators" because they are like detectives, looking for answers to a mystery. Investigative journalists ask hard questions, sometimes going to risky places, to learn the truth about important topics that can affect the whole world.
