The official language of Iran is Persian. Iran has a rich history going back thousands of years and is one of the oldest continuous civilizations in the world. One of the most popular places to visit in Iran is Persepolis, an ancient city that has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The economy of Iran is largely made up of natural resources such as oil and gas, and it is a major supplier of these resources to many countries. The people of Iran are known for their hospitality and friendliness towards visitors.
