Iran–European Union relations

Iran and the European Union used to be friends before they became unhappy with each other. They used to trade and talk to each other nicely about things like oil, but then they started having some disagreements. The European Union wanted to stop Iran from making something called nuclear weapons, which are very powerful and can cause a lot of damage. Iran said they didn't want to make them, but the European Union didn't believe them. So, they decided to stop trading with Iran and make it harder for them to do things they wanted to do. This made Iran really upset, so they started doing things that Europe didn't like, such as hurting people and breaking rules. Now, they are not friends anymore and are trying to figure out how to be friends again. It is hard, but they are talking to each other to try and come to an agreement.
