ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority

The Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority is a group of people who make sure that the people who work in banks and other financial companies do their jobs the right way. They make sure that these companies don't cheat people or do anything bad. Think of them as like a teacher who makes sure everyone in class is doing their work and being good. They also make rules for the companies to follow so that everyone is playing by the same rules. Just like how we have rules in school to make sure we're being safe and fair to each other.
