Irrational Exuberance (book)

Irrational exuberance is a book written by Nobel prize-winning economist Robert Shiller. In the book, Shiller talks about a phenomenon called "irrational exuberance" which means someone is feeling very confident and excited about something, even when it's not based on facts or reality. For example, in the stock market, people might be excited about the price of stocks even if all the facts tell them that it's too expensive and the stock prices are likely going to go down. People might be so excited about a stock that they keep buying it even though it's a bad decision. Shiller is trying to warn people against this kind of irrational enthusiasm and hopes to help us make better decisions by not letting our emotions cloud our judgment.
