Irwin–Hall distribution is a type of probability distribution. It is a special type of “bell-shaped” distribution. It means that on a graph, the shape of the data looks like a bell. The middle of the bell is the most likely outcome. On either side, the data becomes less and less likely. With the Irwin–Hall distribution, the middle of the bell is the average of the numbers you are looking at. The farther away from the average, the less likely it is. The Irwin–Hall distribution is used to help people predict outcomes.
