Islamic religious police

Islamic religious police are police officers that make sure Muslim people are following the rules that come from the Islamic religion. For example, these police might make sure that people are wearing modest clothing, are not drinking alcohol, or that women are covered with a hijab. Sometimes the police will give people warnings if they break these rules, and other times they will punish people by giving out fines or jail time.
