Islamic views on evolution

Islam is a religion that believes that God is the Creator of the Universe and all living things. Islamic views on evolution are complicated and vary depending on who you ask. Generally, most Islamic scholars and religious believers accept that evolution happens, but they believe that God is part of the process. They think that God created the first living things on Earth, and then evolution shaped different species over time. Some Islamic scholars also accept the “theistic evolution” theory, which states that God started and guided evolution. They believe that God is responsible for creating the process of evolution, and therefore, is in control of the entire process. Although Islamic views on evolution are varied, most believers accept evolution as a way of understanding how species and organisms change over time.
