Island tameness

Island tameness is what happens when an animal or bird lives on an island for a long time without the fear of being hunted by its predators. This can make the animal or bird lose its natural fear of humans, and it might even come close to them. When this happens, the animal or bird is said to be 'tame' because it isn't scared of people.
