Israel–Kurdistan Region relations
So, remember when you were playing with your toy cars and you and your friend were fighting over which car was yours? It kinda has been like that for a long time between the countries of Israel and the people who live in an area called Kurdistan.
Israel and Kurdistan are kind of like two friends who don't have many other friends around, so they kind of hang out together. They both feel like the big kids around the other friends on the playground because they are tough and have been through a lot of things.
But, some other kids on the playground called other countries don't like that Israel and Kurdistan are friends. They say that Israel should not be friends with Kurdistan because some of the other big kids on the playground don't like them.
Israel and Kurdistan sometimes talk to each other about helping each other more and being better friends. But, sometimes they also worry that other friends will get mad at them for talking too much.
So, they are still trying to figure out how to be good friends and play nicely with everyone else on the playground.
