Jörg-Peter Ewert

Jörg-Peter Ewert was an astronomer from Germany who was an expert in star formations. He studied stars in galaxies and worked hard to understand how stars are born and how they die. He showed that stars are born in huge clouds of gas and dust called nebulae and that, over time, these clouds can collapse and form a new star. Jörg-Peter helped us to understand more about these star formations and why some stars die, which is how we know so much about them today.
