Jahannam is a place in some religions that is thought to be where bad people go after they die. It's like a really hot, scary, and unpleasant place where bad people have to go because they were not good during their life on earth.

It's sort of like being in a really hot and dark room where everything is burning and there's no way out. It's not a place people want to end up after they die, so it's important to be kind and good to others while on earth.
