Jallianwala Bagh

Okay kiddo, let me explain to you what happened at Jallianwala Bagh. A long time ago, in the year 1919, India was under the control of the British government. But, the Indian people were very unhappy with this and wanted their freedom. So, many protests and rallies were happening all over the country.

One such protest took place in a place called Amritsar, in a small park called Jallianwala Bagh. Lots of people had gathered there to protest peacefully against the British government's unfair laws. But then, something very bad happened. The British government sent soldiers to the park and they started shooting at the innocent people who were protesting. Even babies and children were killed in the shooting.

This made a lot of people angry and the whole country was shocked by this horrific incident. Many people were injured or killed that day. It was a very sad day for India and it is remembered as a tragic event in the history of the country. The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre is a reminder of the cruelty and injustice of the British rule in India.
