Japanese Special Attack Units

Okay, let's talk about something called Japanese special attack units. During a big war many years ago, Japan was in a fight with other countries and they wanted to do something they thought would help them win. They created special attack units, which were groups of people who were trained to do something very brave and dangerous.

These people were called pilots, and they were given special planes called kamikaze planes. Kamikaze planes were different from normal planes because they were only meant to be used once. The pilots were supposed to fly their planes into enemy ships and explode them, which would cause a lot of damage.

The pilots knew that what they were doing was very dangerous, and that they might not come back alive. But they still chose to do it because they thought it would help their country win the war.

Many people today think that the idea of special attack units was very bad, because it meant that many young people had to die. But others think that the pilots were very brave and did what they thought was best for their country.

So, to sum up: Japanese special attack units were groups of pilots who were trained to use kamikaze planes to try and win a big war. They were brave, but what they did was also very dangerous and many of them did not come back alive.
