Jean Bart

Jean Bart is a really big boat. It is called a battleship and it can shoot really big guns to protect its friends and fight its enemies. It was made a long time ago in France and was named after a famous sailor named Jean Bart. People liked him because he was very brave and he helped protect his country. The boat looks very strong and is painted in navy blue which is very pretty. It has lots of rooms inside where the sailors can eat, sleep, and work. Sailors are people who work on the boat and know how to make it go. They use big engines and special machines that help the boat move through the water. The boat is so big that it needs a lot of fuel to make it go, just like a big car needs gas. Even though Jean Bart is not used anymore because it is too old, people still remember it as a very important boat in history.
