ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Jesus and the woman taken in adultery

One day, a woman was taken to Jesus because she had done something wrong. Some people had caught her doing something that was against the rules and they wanted to punish her.

But Jesus said, "Let the person who has never done anything wrong before throw the first stone at her." The people started to think and realized that they had all done wrong things before. So, one by one they walked away without throwing any stones at the woman.

Jesus then said to the woman, "Where are the people that wanted to punish you? Did no one condemn you?" The woman replied, "No one, sir."

Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go now, and don't do it again."

This story tells us that no one is perfect and that we shouldn't judge others because we are not perfect ourselves. It also shows that Jesus was forgiving and kind to those who made mistakes.
