Jewish Messiah claimants

Jewish messiah claimants are people who say that they are the Jewish messiah, otherwise known as someone who will save the Jewish people from suffering and bring peace and justice to the world. This idea comes from the biblical prophecies in the Hebrew Bible about a future messiah, someone who is special and chosen by God and will be sent to lead the Jews to a better future. A lot of people throughout history have said that they were this messiah, including some who started their own religions. But most Jewish people don't believe them and don't follow them.
