Jewish-Christian gospels

Alright kiddo, do you know what the Bible is? It's a really important book for Christians, and it talks about God and Jesus. Now, Christians have a special part of the Bible called the New Testament, which tells the story of Jesus and what He did when He was alive.

But did you know there are other books about Jesus that some people use, but aren't in the Christian Bible? These books are called the Jewish-Christian gospels.

So, let's talk about the Jewish people. They believe in God too, but they have a different book than the Bible called the Torah. Sometimes, Jewish writers would write about the things that Jesus did, but in their own way. So, the Jewish-Christian gospels are books written by Jews, but about Jesus.

Some of these books include the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary, and the Gospel of Judas. They are called gospels because they tell the story of Jesus, just like the Christian gospels.

Now, the Jewish-Christian gospels are really interesting because they give us a different perspective on Jesus and what He did. But Christians don't use them as much because they don't believe they're 100% accurate or truthful. They like to stick to the books they believe are the most trustworthy.

So, in summary, Jewish-Christian gospels are books written by Jewish people about Jesus. They give us a unique perspective on Jesus and what He did, but Christians don't use them as much because they don't believe they're totally true.
