John Dewey

John Dewey was an American philosopher and educator. He believed that education could be used to help people better understand the world around them and how to live in it. He thought that kids should be taught in a way that was fun and engaging and that hands-on learning would be the most successful. He also said that the best learning happens when students are given the chance to think and figure things out for themselves. He wanted education to be about more than just memorizing facts and that kids should be able to think critically and creatively. We still use some of his ideas and philosophies in schools today!
