John thought that Jesus was amazing and he was a little scared too. But Jesus said to him, "Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last. I am the living one who died, but now I am alive forever and ever. And I hold the keys of death and the grave."
That means Jesus is like a really powerful superhero who can defeat anything bad, even death! When we believe in Jesus, we can be saved from scary things and be with him forever.
