Johnson solid

Okay kiddo, so have you ever played with different shapes like cubes or spheres? Well, there are some other fun shapes out there too, and one of them is called a Johnson solid!

You know how a cube has six sides that are all the same size and shape? Well, a Johnson solid is kind of like a 3D puzzle made out of different shapes that fit together perfectly. These shapes can be triangles, rectangles, or even really weird ones that you've never seen before!

To make a Johnson solid, you start by taking one shape, called a base, and then adding more shapes to it until it looks like a cool, bumpy shape. The cool thing about Johnson solids is that they look different from every angle and they can come in lots of different sizes and shapes.

People like to study Johnson solids because they're interesting to look at and they can teach us things about math and geometry. Some Johnson solids are really rare and only a few people have ever seen them in real life!

So that's pretty much what a Johnson solid is, a cool 3D shape that's made up of different shapes all put together. Maybe you can try making your own Johnson solid with your toys or building blocks!
