Jon Krakauer

Jon Krakauer is a grown-up who likes to write stories about exploring and climbing mountains. He likes to go on adventures, and then write about them in books. He's really good at making people feel like they're right there with him on his adventures. Some of his most famous books are about a mountain called Mount Everest, and the people who try to climb it. But, sometimes, he writes about other kinds of adventures too. Many people think he's a really good writer because he makes his stories exciting and easy to understand.
