Jordan curve theorem

Jordan Curve Theorem says that if you draw a loop on a piece of paper, you can divide the paper into two parts by drawing a straight line through the loop. The two parts are called the inside and the outside of the loop. No matter how complicated the loop is, as long as it never crosses itself, it will divide the paper into two pieces.
