Jubilee Debt Coalition

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes people borrow money from other people or banks when they need it? Well, sometimes they can't pay that money back, and that's called debt. And when the amount of debt keeps getting bigger and bigger, it becomes really hard for them to get out of it.

Now, there's a group of people called the Jubilee Debt Coalition, and they want to help those who are trapped in debt. They believe that the world's economy doesn't work fairly for everyone, and that some countries and people are unfairly burdened with too much debt.

So, the Jubilee Debt Coalition is trying to persuade governments, banks, and other financial institutions to forgive or cancel some of the debts owed by poorer countries. They believe that if these debts are cancelled, those countries will have more money to invest in things like education, healthcare, and job creation, which can help them become more prosperous in the long run.

The Jubilee Debt Coalition also wants to raise awareness about the impact that debt can have on people's lives, and why it's important to have a fair and just system that doesn't put too much burden on those who are already struggling.

In short, they're trying to make sure that people don't get trapped in debt and that everyone has a fair chance to succeed.
