Judaeo-Spanish

Judaeo-Spanish, also known as Ladino, is a special language that some Jewish people speak. It is a bit different from regular Spanish because it has words and expressions from Hebrew, Turkish, and other languages too! It came from Jewish people who lived a long time ago in Spain and were later forced to leave their homes and move to other places. These people kept speaking the Spanish they knew and blended it with the other languages they were exposed to. This language is different from Hebrew, which is the language of the Jewish religion, but it has lots of Jewish words and ways of talking, so it is still important to Jewish culture.
