July 2009 Ürümqi riots

In July 2009, there was some trouble in a city in China called Urumqi. Some people in Urumqi were angry because they thought the government was not treating them fairly, so they started to fight each other in the streets. People started breaking windows and setting fire to things. The police had to step in and stop the fighting. Sadly, a lot of people were hurt and some people even died. It was a very sad event.
