Junk drawer
A junk drawer is a special drawer in your house where you keep all the little things that you don't know where else to put. It's like a special place for random things that don't belong in the other drawers or in your shelves.
For example, let's say you have a pen and you don't know where to put it, or maybe a rubber band that you found lying on the floor. You might put those things in your junk drawer because it's a place where you can keep things that you might need later but don't have a definite place for them yet.
The junk drawer can be a lot of fun because sometimes you find things in there that you forgot you had. Maybe you'll find a toy or a piece of candy that you didn't finish before.
It's important to remember, though, that even though it's called a "junk" drawer, it doesn't mean that all the things in there are actually junk. Some of the things in the drawer might be very useful and important, so it's a good idea to take a look through it every once in a while and see if there's anything in there that you can use.
