ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Jus patronatus

Jus Patronatus is like having a special power or responsibility over a house or a building. It's a bit like being the boss of that place. When someone has jus patronatus, they get to pick important people to work in the house, like the priest who does religious things. This means they are in charge of who gets to work there and who doesn't. They also get to help make decisions that will affect the house or the building. It's kind of like being a king or a queen, but just for that one place.
