Just in case

Just In Case means making sure that you have a plan or something in place so that you are prepared if something bad happens. It is like a safety net - you want to be able to catch yourself and be okay if something goes wrong. For example, if you were going on a long journey, you would want to make sure you are prepared in case your car breaks down or you get lost, so you could bring extra food and water, a map, a spare tire, etc.
