Juutila Foundry

Okay kiddo, let me explain what a Juutila Foundry is. Have you ever seen how things are made out of metal? A foundry is a place where metal gets melted down and poured into molds to make different shapes and objects.

The Juutila Foundry is a specific foundry located in the town of Kemi in Finland. They have been around for over 100 years and are known for their high-quality castings and specialty products.

Imagine you have a big bucket of Legos, but instead of Legos, it's a big bucket of metal pieces. The Juutila Foundry takes those metal pieces and melts them down in a really hot furnace until they become a liquid.

Next, they pour that liquid metal into molds, sort of like pouring Jell-O into a mold to make a shape. Once the metal cools down and solidifies in the mold, they take it out and cut off any extra parts to make the final product.

The Juutila Foundry can make all sorts of things out of metal, like machine parts, tools, and even art pieces. And because they have been around for so long, they are really good at it!
