K'n-yan

K'n-Yan is a made-up place in a spooky story called "The Mound" by H.P. Lovecraft. It's a city that's hidden underground, kind of like a secret cave city. Some people say it's based on real stories about underground cities that might have existed long, long ago. In the story, the city is supposed to be really old and full of ancient, mysterious technology that nobody knows how to use anymore. It's also full of monsters and creepy stuff that would scare you if you were there. So even though K'n-Yan isn't a real place, it's still really interesting to think about and wonder what secrets might be hidden underground!
